S/R Base 5 Now on Boinc
SR5 Now on Boinc
Today we started SR5 on PrimeGrid Boinc. Welcome. Lennart |
Hi Lennart, Is there some screen that will show what primes have been found on SR5-BOINC. Gary and I need those so we can keep our tables up to date on CRUS. It also effects bases 25 and 625

55154*5^1063213+1 others are double checking. i suppose they will be listed here http://www.primegrid.com/stats_sr5_llr.php not double checked but these i suppose. NOT 100% SURE! 97768*5^n-1 130484*5^n-1 243686*5^n-1 305716*5^n-1 |

Yes there are http://www.primegrid.com/stats_sr5_llr.php But they will not show up there before they are validated on TOP5000 list. Lennart |
That link shows the number of primes for a k not the actual prime.
55154*5^1063213+1 should have shown up by now. |
You'd expect to see them at the SR5 project primes
http://primes.utm.edu/bios/page.php?id=768 by pressing [All of This Project's Primes], but the latest primes are not added to SR5 project (!). See here: http://primes.utm.edu/primes/page.php?id=114434 Well, you can use http://primes.utm.edu/primes/search_proth.php?base=5&number=300&plus=y&minus=y |
...Well, you can use http://primes.utm.edu/primes/search_proth.php?base=5&number=300&plus=y&minus=y
And this method currently works better than monitoring the "Status" page, because new codes are not shown in it (not even in orange). Currently, two more primes were released (two will show up later):
rank description digits who year comment ----- -------------------------------- ------- ----- ---- -------------- 138 130484*5^1080012-1 754902 L3547 2013 <-- 146 55154*5^1063213+1 743159 L3543 2013 151 114986*5^1052966-1 735997 L3528 2013 155 243686*5^1036954-1 724806 L3549 2013 <-- 163 119878*5^1019645-1 712707 L3528 2013 198 70082*5^936972-1 654921 L3523 2013 202 102976*5^929801-1 649909 L3313 2013 212 110488*5^917100+1 641031 L3354 2013 ...
|
SR5 started on BOINC at 1M. BOINC does double checking of all results. Is it worth doing a re-check of SR5 below 1M to see if any primes were missed?
Recent announcements: 37292*5^1487989+1 found on 29 December 2013. Not so easy find based on k weight. 59912*5^1500861+1 found on 17 January 2014. Easy find based on k weight. |
It looks like new over MEGA SR5 is found ( on Primegrid)
178658*5^1525224-1 http://primes.utm.edu/primes/page.php?id=117045 |
Another mega SR5 prime was found on PrimeGrid on Feb 6, 2014.
22934*5^1536762-1 http://primes.utm.edu/primes/page.php?id=117082 http://www.primegrid.com/download/SR5-22934.pdf |
Another one found by Primegrid (21 March 2014):
330286*5^1584399-1 http://www.primegrid.com/download/SR5-330286.pdf |
Retest current k's
Primegrid's looking at doing a re-test of current k's for range before they went to BOINC, i.e. n<1M:
http://www.primegrid.com/forum_thread.php?id=5686 Good idea I think. |
Retest current k's
Re-check of current k's for n<966063 complete.
731K individual tests completed in the re-check. No prime found. Now confident to head to much higher n. http://www.primegrid.com/stats_sr5_llr.php |

This page didn't exist last year when you asked the question: http://www.primegrid.com/primes/primes.php?project=SR5 |
