I might be interested. FOB Florida, USA.

Does it pass owftheevil's memory test under Linux?

kracker 2013-05-06 22:23

Just curious, how old is it?

I am sorry; I currently only have Linux in a virtual machine. If somebody can point me to a USB stick distribution of Linux I could use for testing the card, please post a link.

The card is from November, 2010.

I'm sorry. The tentative offer to buy the card (by me) is off the table.

No problem.

I will test the card when I find time to play with Linux, or when owftheevil releases a Windows version of his test.

Of course I know what it means. I just didn't get the reason for it... At all.

I'm probably wrong but he could be laughing at the thought that I could build something for windows.

I'm laughing at the thought that someone would make available for sale something which can't (or won't) be tested using the best tests available.

Last time I bought a laptop, Prime95 found a problem. Ran Memtest on it, if found the error too. Returned it for a replacement. Ran Memtest before even allowing Windows to run for the first time.

You think that manufactures would test their machines before shipping.
