Infinity, thou art a heartless bitch
I've partially been thinking about other things, also Batalov's kind of correct for me it's kind of hard to figure it out at times, it also feels better if I don't at times since you seem to be trying to convince people they voted wrong.
Just wondering... Are you in any way related to Rick Mercer? |

Hey, let's be honest; and the record will show. You PM me. I sometimes respond. I have little to no time for you. |

I have little to no time for you.
Okay, I'll agree. Though not with anything of value so I wish if you didn't like me you'd block me. one of the last things you responded to, you basically called me the stupidest person on here. |

I stand by that. |
I'm not a joke person, I want to take things as seriously as possible.
OK. What is 1/infinity? |
OK. What is 1/infinity?
RDS pointed out infinity is NaN therefore NaN but if you set infinity as a variable you could claim almost any value. I also tried google searching some say if can be 0 since it's so close to it. |

Only an idiot would misunderstand infinity Sadly, this is often misunderstood. |

We do not know the answer to your question nor do we understand infinity. |
We do not know the answer to your question nor do we understand infinity.
The answer depends on who you ask. A physicist might say "zero", while a mathematician would say it is a meaningless question (so "not a number" is a reasonable response). Very few people, if any, understand infinity. Cantor might arguably have, but I think most mathematicians would say that no one has and no one will (especially since the continuum hypothesis is indepedent of the ZFC axiomatization of mathematics). (Edit: Some people might have a good knowledge of what infinity is not, but I wouldn't call that understanding.) |
Some supermods wolfpacking and cornering a small sheep insulated from its herd, in a place where she can't defend and nobody can defend it... (I would note that Xyzzy jumped to the defense side, though).
Don't you (all of you) have anything better to do except wasting time and calling names? This forum is for chess. If we lose this game I will blame the supermods who bullied two people of my team! :yucky: I will write to European Chess Union, and to United Nations and to ... aa ... (let me remember few names which sounds scary...)... You can continue this on PM, or if you feel it's for public interest, then move it on public and see the opinions of everybody. |
