Need the password for this archive by April 1st!

WHAT in the UNIVERSE is the password to this archive?!

<some_link>

And if anybody asks why I want this, I collect multitrack stems for songs so I can hear each track seperately. Please tell me the password or tell me how to get it without paying for a VIP account.

kracker 2013-02-15 23:41

Oh come ON....

Sorry, I don't think we do stuff like that here.

Stargate38 2013-02-15 23:47

I just want the password.

I think I just answered your question.

Depending on the type of file, you may be able to "recover" the password by running ARCHPR or hashkill.

He wants *us* to do it instead of himself. :shark:

Besides, you're supposed to pay for it, I think.

Stargate38 2013-02-16 00:35

Why do I have to pay?! Why did we make a monetary system in the first place?

kracker 2013-02-16 00:37
Why do I have to pay?! Why did we make a monetary system in the first place?
The world will not bow to you because you were born.

EDIT: Good, link is gone.

Stargate38 2013-02-16 00:40

I see the link's been removed, but I still have it in a document on my HD.
Why do I have to pay?! Why did we make a monetary system in the first place?
So I assume when you get up in the morning and go to work, you do it just for the hell of it, and do not expect a check at the end of the pay period?

He's wondering why food isn't free and why he has to pay bills as well.

Stargate38 2013-02-16 00:56

Getting back onto topic.

I've been looking for that file for 7 years! Why would I have to pay for it? I do hope you can tell me how on Earth I can get the password for free from the original uploader. I tried E-mailing their site 2 years ago for a different file and I got no reply.

Anyways I don't care what the price of food is as long as my family can pay for it. We don't have any problems with bills. We can afford them (barely).

Ah, so you don't pay the bills then. Figures. If you really want it, do it yourself.

science_man_88 2013-02-16 01:24

can't find the chords to the music ?

Stargate38 2013-02-16 01:34

I don't want a cover version!

I want the ORIGINAL multitrack, not a cover version! There has to be a way to get it for free WITHOUT breaking the law!

only_human 2013-02-16 01:52
I want the ORIGINAL multitrack, not a cover version! There has to be a way to get it for free WITHOUT breaking the law!
I understand better now. Sorry for my obtuseness. You are requesting that a wish be granted. There is a thread for that:<Corrupt-A-Woosh>

kladner 2013-02-16 01:56

?

swl551 2013-02-16 02:05

I did some research

I used CudaMucus 2.88 linux44bit to perform a three phase DEXhashB and got back the following

Feb 15 21:03 | 78.9 | 12m38s | 2219.0M/s | 72-73 | 373.77 | 82485 | n.a.
The password -> qaZp{o49Mn~1(845-KKuj48810@ejd

Stargate38 2013-02-16 02:29

Is that for the first, second, or third file?

flashjh 2013-02-16 02:54

So you ask someone to help you, they did, and now you can't figure out what file the password belongs to?
I want the ORIGINAL multitrack, not a cover version! There has to be a way to get it for free WITHOUT breaking the law!
If you're supposed to pay for it and you get it any other way, well...

Probably a joke, but you're too lazy to try for which file. Nice.

kladner 2013-02-16 03:20

 @ swl551!

EDIT: "CUDAMucus" LOL

Then: "Ohh... ah... I see.. ahaHAHAHAHAHA!!"

I've been asking the cheap bastards at the Louvre to let me take the Mona Lisa home with me for over a decade ... no joy. I earned that baby!

Batalov 2013-02-16 04:56

You don't want the cover? Just the ORIGINAL?
I am with you on that.

retina 2013-02-16 05:24
I've been asking the cheap bastards at the Louvre to let me take the Mona Lisa home with me for over a decade ... no joy. I earned that baby!
I realise this is a joke but it does show the common misconception with digital copying and physical transferral. Stealing the Mona Lisa deprives the Louvre of the painting, but "stealing" the password for a zip file does not deprive the originator of their copy of the data, they still have it. But even so, having to pay for a password is kind of like a tease: "Here is the file but you can't use it, nyah nyah, nyah-nyah nyah!"
I've been asking the cheap bastards at the Louvre to let me take the Mona Lisa home with me for over a decade ... no joy. I earned that baby!
Granted. Unfortunately, an amateur restoration was performed first: (Google Image Search) Mona Lisa amateur restoration
