My note said "without any knowledge of Primenet server traffic". Y'all are so busy parsing server logs, you've apparently forgotten how to do math. My point being, by trying the math-based approach, people might actually learn something useful about GIMPS-style computations.
Ain't it funny how easy the problem seems when you know the answer from the back of the text book:smile:

The sun is shining, but only 5 degrees Celsius (41 F) here in my neck of the woods (Kansas)

Uncwilly 2013-02-02 17:13

It is seasonally appropriate here.:uncwilly:

kladner 2013-02-02 17:19

Seasonable (~-5 C) and intermittent snow in Chicago. It only seems strange because the last two winters were much warmer with very little snow. Highs below freezing will persist for several days, which again should be expected if the climate weren't so screwy.

pinhodecarlos 2013-02-02 17:27

34 degrees Celsius in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
