What hardware (CPU) was the LL scheduled to?
|
ROFL - the thread title was supposed to change from 30 to 20 years... not to add yet another 3 by changing it to 33.
I guess the Forum gods are somewhat like the genie Mulder found rolled up inside a carpet in that episode of the "X-Files." :alien: Rodrigo
It was 20, haha, it changed just before your post. Anyhow, anything posted these days is going unnoticed, everybody stuck their eyes on the new prime announcement thread... |
My 100 million digit is not scheduled to complete until August 2014. Of course it may be a bit sooner as I'll upgrade to Haswell as soon as it launches, and Broadwell too if it launches before I finish.

It got assigned to a Pentium 233 (!). Safely out of that computer's hands, the exponent is now being worked on by an Ivy Bridge system. Rodrigo |

That's funny!! Oh, and it's changed again, to "P-90 years." :max: And now I'll leave this thread to check out the news of the new prime... Rodrigo |

I'd shudder to see how long it would take that P233 to finish your exponent! Rodrigo |
@Rodrigo: What was the exponent in your attachment on post #1? If you can't say it here, PM me.
