Thanks for the overview and congrats on many primes. I'll add them to the list asap. I also failed to mark k=127 as reserved by Curtis. But those found in the 2nd Drive should be all there.

k=19 to n=600,000. I've also attached the residues to this post. I haven't found any primes yet, but I'll stick with this k until I do find one :smile:

Hi, I'm Steven Tjung, one of Curtis' high school kids. I've been testing 127 so far and I'd like to reserve k=103 to n=500000. I have an AMD Athlon 1400MHz at home and I'm looking forward to find a prime number.

Steven,

Welcome to RPS!

But I suggest that you reconsider the k to work on. I'm sure you'd like to find your first prime soon, but I'm afraid k=103 is not the right one. First, it's not so prolific, and second, and more important, somobody has already worked on a subset of the 200-500k range, he found a prime at n=304771 but he never reported the range he tested. Possibly, he did the whole range already. Instead, how about a k in the 197-217 range (except k=199) or k>=237. Let me know if need a more specific suggestion. Have a look here for details.

This is just another status report:

k=11 has reached n=1.34M
k=29 has reached n=1.66M

k=147 has been completed through n=500k, releasing this k.

k=155 is currently around n=560k.

For both, k=141 and k=147, the lower range n=100000-200000 has been double-checked, no new primes found.

Kosmaj, Thank you for the suggestion. After I talk to Curtis, I came up that I'm still going to take the 103 and re-test the number and make it clear up to 500000. Thanks again.

OK, no probs, k=103 is yours, and good luck!

Reserving k=39 from n=500k

Reserving k=45 from n=500k onward. I plan to sieve very deeply for a possible future team LLRing effort on this high-weight k. I'll post when I am ready for LLR reservations.

k=155 has reached n=700k now. No primes so far... :no:
