When I add the new k's to the server, I will add the ranges of n=32,000 to 250,000. (Removing everything below n=32,000 - I can't fix the sieve right now because I don't have access to the machine until Monday... :)
I'll post the k=65 primes sometime tomorrow. And if possible, I'll move the LLRnet server to a linux machine tomorrow night. |
Then let's test them all to 32k, thus completing all double-checks off the network. Just tell us the status and let's divide the work, either by k or by n. I tested them all to 10k (see above).
BTW, I'd also like to reserve k=77 to test by myself to n=250k.
lets sieve all the k's upto 1M and then use LLR to bring all of them upto 32K. If, some one could do this and make a file with all the k's in it then we can divide that file easily. Citrix :cool: :cool: :cool: |

k = 49
I have stopped testing at 417500 with no new primes. k=49 is now open to whomever wants it.

k=49
I am unable to send e-mail to Wilfrid Keller as his e-mail server has blocked all e-mail from Road Runner. Could someone please send him information on the current status of k=49?
Thanks. |

Thanks.
Just give him the link of our status page. He'll be free to update when ever he wants. Joss |
k=79 Done
k=79 checked 20000-250000, primes found for n = 65977, 82081, 92517, 214453, and 248055.
BTW, what's the status of k=53? It looks abandoned at n=89850. If nobody is working on it, I'd like to reserve it. I'll mail Dr Keller about k=49 and 79 and will tell him about the page maintained by Joss. And finally congrats to everybody on new primes, but in particular to "our" Keller on his first primes (k=75) in Top-5000! :cool: |
Thanks.

k=81
k=81 is done till 220K and Im stopping there.
No new primes. Citrix :cool: :cool: :cool: |
No problems. I just mailed Dr Keller about k=49, 63, 65 ("15k*2^n-1 Search" group) and k=79. Only now I noticed that large primes for k=65 have been already reported by others :sad: I also told him about the page by Joss but I'm afraid we still have to mail him because on the page we have our nick-names while he prefers real names, it's not stated who processed k's marked as "Done" etc.
Joss, on your list you are missing 63*2^1792-1, it's on Keller's list and it's prime, I just checked. Happy hunting to all! |
