I wonder why I got a new assignment although the current assignment is not yet finnished.

In what RPS drive?

In Prime95?

there may be many reasons. One is that your terminal is set to request work for a number of days in advance. This is the normal case: people request work for a month, or 15 days, or 2-3 days at least, in advance, so the computer has something to do in case the old assignment is finished and the internet connection become unavailable at the time of finish. In short, you "store" some future work to do in your computer. Check the "preferences" in the "options" menu. Look for days to queue. There can be other reasons too, but we believe this is your case.

Perhaps you are right. My current assignment has less work left to do than defined in queue. And maybe, therefore the new assignment is offered. The current LL computation now is in point 92% (4 days from 100%). There is no problem, I only wonder the procedure. Thanks very much.
