Team forums?
Under the Chess forum there are two new subforums.
Can you all see these forums? Read them? Post to them? They are supposed to be password protected. Please let us know what behavior you are experiencing. We need more than a few people to check this out due to all the various permission levels you all have. Thanks! |
They both ask for passwords, neither of which I have.
Additionally, since you made the forums, the Chess forum has been marked as having a new post, but without actually having one. |
I can see two forum titles with no threads/posts. Both ask for passwords.
|
I see both but no post and password protected so unless I know a password I couldn't post even if I wanted to.
|
Same here, see two subforums, no posts, asking for password. I tried to use 1234, no way
Tried to used my forum password, it says is crap. Got angry and tried to use my mod rights to delete the other team's subforum (why the other team should need a forum, btw?). No luck... |

Additionally, since you made the forums, the Chess forum has been marked as having a new post, but without actually having one.
It was fixed yesterday, but now it's doing it again. (Is it perhaps because of posts in the other private forum?) |

I can see them but no access without the password.
|
I can see both. I only have access to my team. I didn't need a password since I am a mod of the subforum.
|
Is it possible to make posts that you don't have access to not count as unread posts in the team forums? I keep thinking that someone has posted but it is just that someone posted in the other team's forum(they are very active:smile:).

All we have for resources is the manual and the support forum. (PS - We run the stock OOTB software, without any mods. Mods greatly increase the cost (time) of managing the forum.) |
