Vinegar versus honey.
You can make vinegar from honey, so in this conflict, vinegar is the last condiment standing.

Yes, you appropriately addressed that part of my reply.

What about this one?

This thread required me to be non-pedantic, so I held back.

IIf you've read my 200 posts in this thread, what point that I made
do you challenge?

Take your pick:
the non-existence
of God has been utterly proven. Many times.

God is non-existent. And that this has been proven many times.
God is non-existent. That can be proven.
Also this one:
There's a reason I won't put a proof here - it's already posted elsewhere.
I have the following additional comments to make.

Proof ... well, so far, all semi-atheists haven't bothered to ask
the right question(s).
What, pray tell, is the right question?

Even if they exists, by today they are far behind.

Since the issue has become contentious, and because I don't feel like raking through the muck of some of this thread, I add my voice to the question below, and second the request for a link or two.

don't grill or toast your flock.
Don't put us on the barbecue,

Don't braise or bake or boil us
or stir fry us in a wok.

Oh please don't lightly poach us

Don't fricassee or roast us

.....then we are well and truly f**ked, and might as well pack it in, anyway. Otherwise, the question is hair-splittingly irrelevant. The need to espouse a particular belief, or anti-belief, raises questions of its own. Doth the lady protest overmuch?
[...]Otherwise, the question is hair-splittingly irrelevant.[...]
It's not really something which bothers me (agnostic but heavily inclined towards atheism) either, and I tend to agree with you. But as a child it bothered me enormously. At the age of about 6 I had a primary school teacher tell me and the rest of the class that if we didn't believe in God we would not go to heaven. Another lesson from this woman described the two possibilities after death: heaven (clouds and angels and things) and hell (a lot of fire and general horror). I guess what I came away with, persisting almost into adulthood, was that I'd better believe all this religion I was being taught, however peculiar and self-contradictory it often was, otherwise there would literally be hell to pay.

The Monty Python takes on the subject are hilarious.

Which point? Just meant I chose to avoid non-pedanticism
by never simply saying there is no God as an entire post.
