In re. the latter 'problem', I suggest that any organization which is so clearly institutionally corrupt and beholden to power should not survive, period. "Ashcan of history (file under 'too disgraced to exist') and start afresh with a charter designed to prevent such malfeasance from ever happening again, by way of a deep commitment to transparency and institutional democracy" time.

Heartening to see this - though re. Obama and his typically shameless PR-op, I wish he'd do similarly for various wards of the US NatSec prison-industrial complex, like Chelsea Manning and inmates of a certain notorious prison the U.S. is operating in Cuba.

This article freaks us out because we would be in big trouble if our medications were stopped.
