...and years later when I got into computers, my weird sense of humor kicked in and I thought "mad poo" would be a hilarious moniker. Was I right?
It certainly sticks in the mind!
I just completed the DC of 39933121
It made me sad to see that someone had taken the test to 94.1% in about 21 days, and then let it expire for lack of checking in, I suppose. They could have finished in less than two days.
Maybe a triple check will appear some day.
EDIT:
It also seems that UCLA Mathematics had cycles to burn in 2009, as they ran back-to-back LL, which one might guess took the computer about nine days each. I guess that self-checking, might be done to avoid submitting bad results, or just to ease one's mind about the result in advance of someone like me coming along almost 8 years later to officially verify it.
Sometimes some strange entries show up in the history section, but that doesn't always mean the result was "officially" accepted. In that case it may have been an instance of the same result being submitted twice by mistake. Normally those get rejected outright but I do recall seeing a few here and there.

Looking at this one, seems like the result was submitted by a v4 client as well as a v5 client. May have been a strange situation where the client was updated around the time it finished, or something weird. At any rate, the duplicate wasn't accepted as an official result as expected.

Thanks for the details!

Would someone be willing to give 46157789 another check? It has 3 posted results that all disagree.

Mark Rose 2017-04-27 01:24

Anonymous already got it.

Yeah, and I'm bummed I didn't snag it first. They've been squatting on it without any progress yet, so I'm hoping I can grab it when it's going to expire. I like doing those quad checks... something satisfying about it.

When I first started getting details on results, one of the first things I did was find those that needed quintuple, or more, checks. I think I did a few that had 7-8 runs without a match, although it was usually someone that kept trying and kept getting it wrong...

Well, there appears to be another quadruple check available at [M]44740961[/M]...

Quadruple check available at [M]44872229[/M], Madpoo's result is probably the good one.
