I would like a quick TC on 42552817. It was done on my machine that turned in a bunch of bad results recently and I'd like to know if it's gone sour again :/
Got it. It will start in a few hours. I am still a little anxious about my system, though I am considerably throttled back now. Best case is that we are both right. |

Thanks! |
Looks like there's a non-Xolotl false positive at M80303309. Might be helpful to figure out this person's setup to see if it's triggered by the same circumstances (bug?)
In Recent Cleared it looks like it got zero credit but was still accepted as a reported result.
that is an error, not a false pos, as it says "C", my money are on the fact that the masked hex digits are 02 |

I'm running a double check now to find out. Technically it's poaching, since the exponent is showing it's still assigned to the same user who returned the bad result, with a last-updated date before the date the result was returned (??). However if the user returns another result that will just be a double-check of mine. |

I matched Curtis Cooper's result. |
I just got a mismatch, though with a success rate of 100% with n in the several hundreds, I'm pretty confident that my result is correct. (I've had a few mismatches before, which were all subsequently verified to be the fault of the original test.)
https://www.mersenne.org/report_exponent/?exp_lo=39655643&full=1 Edit: Well, this is (now) a Cat 0 exponent, so perhaps posting here is pointless. |

Hmm. I guess I'll start the memory stick shuffle. |

I ran this on a newly-tweaked machine (replaced an i7/4770 which was constantly giving thermal interrupts with an i7/4790K which is behaving much better) ten days ago and got a mismatch; MadPoo picked it up immediately, but is apparently only 0.1% through what should be a really quick double check. Is this just a matter of machines not checking in terribly often?
The machine has done four more verified tests since, so there's no great urgency. |

MadPoo grabs a lot of double-check assignments. If exponents are not urgent he lets them sit for a while until it's their turn in the queue, however he routinely does them to 0.1% first, presumably because that immunizes them from the weird sporadic "spontaneous unreserving" bug. |

At least madpoo managed to grab the second one so I'll know shortly if there is a problem with this computer... |
