Going through all my unverified LLs, I have one suspect result that remains unverified, though a second run was done independently. I don't remember what caused the errors, but it seems to have been a one time thing. Would someone like to TC http://www.mersenne.org/report_exponent/?exp_lo=45299699&full=1 for no particularly good reason?
Your result was bad, as suspected.

Would anyone mind doing a TC on 48429497 ? First double-check mismatch that I've had in three months (62 double-checks), so I suspect the original guy was wrong. Took me 53 hours on GTX580

OK. Enough people have covered for me. Time to give back. :smile:

EDIT: Hmm. I can't get PrimeNet to recognize the assignment. Is there something wrong with the worktodo line?
DoubleCheck=n/a,48429497,72,1
It still appears to be unclaimed.

Once it's in your worktodo and you've started on it, it *should* assign it to you next time it checks in with Primenet.

That exponent is high enough that you may have luck trying to manually reserve it on the website, which may be easier.

I thought, perhaps, that just having it in queue and making P95 call home wasn't quite enough, though that has worked in the past. However, putting it at the top and letting it start, then checking in, didn't do the trick either. :confused2:

Enter it as
DoubleCheck=48429497,72,1

the n/a parameter at the beginning is telling Prime95 to not connect to PrimeNet for that exponent.

Many thanks! :smile:

EDIT: Another rote action which I did not fully understand has bit the dust.
Thanks for explaining, Mark.

CuLu projects 50 hours to completion. It will take a day or two longer as I switch the card back to TF some of the time.

N/A=not assigned, tells PrimeNet that you are working that exponent without having/needing an assignment key for it, but it will accept your result when/if is finished (quite good for testing, or cases when you know you will not finish, like stress tests, or when the exponent is already assigned - if no "N/A" and assigned to other, and not strted already by your machine, then it will be unassigned and deleted from the worktodo list - so this is an example when N/A is needed)

Thanks for the clarification. I should have realized that, with all the TF work I do with both formats.
