And we expected to see our name in the second post "received" which we interpreted as "Xyzzy received our snail mail address". Thanks Xyzzy, I received mine today, forwarded to our address in Maine. Took two weeks exactly, including forwarding time from Maryland. Very neat button! It is pretty impressive to last ten years on the Internet! Many of the forums of which I have been a member in the past end up disappearing due to lack of interest, or get wiped out by infighting amongst moderators or else Eternal-September-like effects take over and slaughter the signal:noise ratio. Everyone here tends to get along (well most of the time LOL) and the discourse maintains a reasonable level of intelligence (Bob Silverman's protestations aside...). For this we should be thankful, as this ensures that GIMPS will benefit in the years ahead by having a place for newbies and veterans alike to powwow re: the project. So here's to another ten years of great conversation, STEM and non-STEM alike.

By the by, it cost Xyzzy $1.95 to mail my button. That was within the USA. Multiply that by 60+ and you get the idea. Please consider (at least) a reciprocal donation to the forum's operating fund.
