tech patent idea: doubtful click processing
A lot of us hate to surf the web on the internet because the links sometimes tend to be so close together that a lot of mis-clicks happen, which can be extremely annoying. First you mis-click, then it ends up that you're so annoyed that you go back more than one page, then you end up mis-clicking again compounding the problem...You get the idea.
My idea is that when more than one link is within 2 finger-widths of where we click then the client magnifies that portion of the screen and allows us to click again. It keeps that magnified portion open long enough for us to either click in that space again, or maybe outside the space to shrink it back. So, basically whenever theres doubt about where we intend to click it asks for a second and maybe third or fourth click to confirm our choice. I think this basic idea would increase the number of people who use their tablets to casually surf the web. I'm not sure if this idea already exists, either way I place no claim on the idea whatsoever since I don't have the expertise to do anything except possibly be a patent troll. Does anyone know of a company that's working on this type of "magnified click" idea? |
Opera Mobile already does this. I was very happy when I found it.

Are they selfish with who they let use it? I'd think every mobile device should at least have the option of using this. |
