No. It doesn't have to do with FactorDB specifically, it's just mass false positives that Avast seems to had in the last ~12h and it was resolved as of definitions update 181022-12

Yeah, these turn up in FDB all the time. Just open the primality section, enter base 3 and click check base.
|
Oh no...
The status page is broken |
Also primality certificates don't seem to upload
|
FactorDB appears to have started ignoring submissions of moderately large numbers of factorisations (as you tend to have if you've progressed an aliquot sequence by a few thousand terms); I paste the terms into a 'report factors' box, and I get the 'report factors' box back again without the factors being recorded.
|
I'd contacted Syd last night. He wrote that some updates were installed.
After updates, the website came back but indeed cert upload stopped working, which I'd let him know. |
The time and date information for prime factors in aliquot sequences now all reads "Before November 4, 2018, 12:20 am" unless completed after that date/time. This must be part of a general reset of the database.
|
It's still not working for me; the previous version, where I couldn't submit using wget but I could submit thousands of factors at a time manually, was almost acceptable. At the moment I don't seem able to submit more than twenty lines of factors at a time, and this is useless.

It seems like now HTTP POST request size was limited by Apache or PHP to ~15Kb.
