Circa AD 2000 I was corresponding with Oliver Wiedermann
viz a viz some interesting problem.

Our estimates of some result were in disagreement.

I looked into why this had occurred.

I mailed him to ask if he believed in the supernatural:
In two unrelated four digit numbers, we had both swapped the middle digits.
