@David, good news my CUDALucas 1.64 result matches yours. So if you run it on Prime95, your result will match. (If you don't want to run it on P95, let me know and I'll run it)

Another match for CL 1.64
I received this as a DC assignment today, so I'm running it with P95.
This looks like assigned to me (in my GPU-2-72 assignment page), and I am already half-way through testing. But PrimeNet disagrees, he says is still assigned to GPU-2-72, and my key is invalid....

I thought we are supposed to take the LL and DC test "on our own", and obey the PrimeNet rules afterthat (contrary to TF's which still obey the GPU-2-72 rules).
You are supposed to obey the PrimeNet rules after being assigned the work. That includes checking in with PrimeNet at least once every two months.

As was discussed at some length on the "GPU to 72 Status" thread, those who are testing with a GPU or a CPU system which is "off-net", please use Prime95 to officially claim the exponent into your PrimeNet account. This will let you manually extend the candidate if required.

So you know, what happened here is very simple: you were issued this candidate to LL test 2012-01-10 14:31:52. PrimeNet then didn't hear from you about this, and recycled it. Luckily, non-anonymous Spidy recaptured it 2012-03-10 23:46:50.

I will try to transfer the candidate back to Anon-Spidy, and send you the new AID.

That be quite true..., though I don't know how that happened and I hope that's the only one expo in my list which escaped the chopping for so long time...

Hi there again.

Earlier today I reported back my first DC http://www.mersenne.org/report_exponent/?exp_lo=26013133 I got via GPU to 72. On my mersenne.org account all is shown correct. But if I had a look at "My Assignments" at gpu72.com, it tells me, I should stop to work on this expo, because someone other finished it allready. Did I something wrong?

Dubslow 2012-03-21 20:26

No, that's not you, that's the security system on GPU272 not recognizing your PrimeNet username. The system is designed to help you realize if someone poached your expo, but like I said, it just didn't recognize your user name. The next time chalsall is online he'll fix it.

Svenie25 2012-03-21 20:29

He, what a fast answer. Thanks a lot.

Looks like a very nice feature.

Sorry about that... It's a nice feature when Spidy is told by its stupid handler what it should know... Your completion will be detected in about an hour...

Thanks for reminding me of this -- I need to add a notice on my Admin "Warnings" page that someone has one or more DC/LLs out but the system doesn't know your PrimeNet Display Name.

Umm... we have a problem. This is an expo I have assigned in GPU272:
http://www.mersenne.org/report_exponent/?exp_lo=46755937
I finished it an hour ago, and wondered why it hadn't been picked up by the P-1 spider, and now I find myself wondering how it was assigned. (Is there a "poach detector" for P-1 as for DC?)

Edit: I just checked the rest assignments I had from the batch, those are all still owned by GPU272 (TF).

It was assigned to you by the system. Somehow it was "lost" back to PrimeNet and reassigned to another PrimeNet worker. I have updated your records to give you the credit for the P-1 work, as you obviously did the work.

There is. The system had detected that the candidate was no longer owned by us (one of only two), and had marked it for no further assignments after you had completed the P-1. For reasons I won't bore you with, it was watching for you to complete a TF rather than a P-1; that's why it didn't detect that you'd finished the work.

Just now I checked my assignments and found the notice that an assigned LLDC had been completed by another user. No harm done as I had not started it.

Should I unreserve it through GPU272? Exponent is 26229943.

Yes, unreserve it through GPU72 to clear the record.

So you know, the sequence of events for this was:

2012-03-22 03:45:02 -- GPU72 issued this to Jerry to DC.
2012-03-23 23:35:48 -- Jerry submitted a bad DC to PrimeNet.
2012-03-24 00:12:11 -- PrimeNet reissued 26229943 to Triple Check to Spidy.
2012-03-24 01:20:21 -- GPU72 issued this to you to DC.
2012-03-27 ??:??:?? -- Jerry submitted a good DC to PrimeNet.

Bad Jerry!!! Bad!

Good to know the sanity check works.
