Some of my assignments (for which I still have valid keys!) are assigned to other persons, like for example 26116141 and 26206969 appear assigned to KYOJI_KAMEI. Is this another nickname for gpu272? (as gimps-visualisation is/was, or so?). Primenet does not complain about my key, just about the fact that there is another user having the assignment. Should I still work them on, or unreserve them all?
This is something which was reported by bcp19 this morning as well. I'm currently drilling down on what might have happened, but my initial impression is this might be a bug with PrimeNet. I've seen this before (years ago) with a large batch of LMH TF assignments I had at the time.

I would say that it is safe for you (and bcp19) to continue working them. GPU72 assigned them only to you, and "KYOJI_KAMEI" doesn't return many results.

I was wondering if someone had requested a bunch from gpu72, started them and then unreserved them in gpu72, causing it to think they were still available.

Nope... What I have determined so far is everything being reserved by the DC anonymous spider (and everything already reserved) PrimeNet thinks is "KYOJI_KAMEI". I doubt he even knows (unless he looks at his PrimeNet assignment page).

I've temporarily disabled the DC assignment function while I bring this back to nominal. I'll probably have to create a new anonymous account for the DCs, unreserve the current cache (as the AIDs are valid), and then have the new account try to re-reserve them.

But again, I think it's safe for anyone who has experienced this to finish the assignments.

Sigh...

OK, this has been done, and the DC assignments reactivated.

Since I would not have been able to unreserve the assignments if they had actually been claimed by a real account, it is definitely safe for those who hold such assignments to finish them.

Note, additionally, that the LL Anonymous spider was not affected by this. I'm going to send George and Scott as much data as I can to see if they can determine what happened on PrimeNet.

I finished a DC a couple of hours ago (my first one for GPU72), but it still hasn't shown up in my GPU72 stats. Is this normal behaviour for DC and LL tests?

What was the candidate (exponent)?

My appologies. Spidy (read: I) should be smarter about this.

Your DC completion should be detected at approximately 40 minutes after this next hour.

It has magically appeared, thanks! :smile:

@David, good news my CUDALucas 1.64 result matches yours. So if you run it on Prime95, your result will match. (If you don't want to run it on P95, let me know and I'll run it)

Another match for CL 1.64

This looks like assigned to me (in my GPU-2-72 assignment page), and I am already half-way through testing. But PrimeNet disagrees, he says is still assigned to GPU-2-72, and my key is invalid....
Test=5C99DD4D5C0A4782DFD55A22BABA0B5A,45221537,72,1
reply from PrimeNet:
RESPONSE:
pnErrorResult=40
pnErrorDetail=ap: Assignment key 5C99DD4D5C0A4782DFD55A22BABA0B5A belongs to another user
==END==
I thought we are supposed to take the LL and DC test "on our own", and obey the PrimeNet rules afterthat (contrary to TF's which still obey the GPU-2-72 rules).
