I have a friend who could use that modem, the lines in his house are terrible and his connection rate is horrible (I think its partly his ISP, frankly). It's so bad he has to try to dial in multiple times before his PC actually connects. He's been trying to convince his parents to go broadband to no avail...

Send me his address...

PrimeCruncher 2003-12-11 02:01

It's in your PM box, Xyzzy. Thanks for your generosity, I'm sure he'll appreciate it. Thanks a lot!

Garo snagged the Celery so that leaves 2, 3, 4, & 5 left...

I could use "4 - 1 stick of 128MB PC100 Crucial memory... CT16M64S4D8B" for a PC I'm building for some kids.

Darn, I wrote that it was PCI but I meant to say ISA... I hope he has an ISA slot!

Tasuke 2003-12-11 06:44

I had a v.everything, then I got broadband.

it is the best modem ever made tho. reguardless of the slot. Also used exactly no CPU resources, which was a plus(needed all of my 15 FPS in Duke3D)

outlnder 2003-12-11 08:07

To add to Xyzzy's generosity, I have

1- 2x 64MB PC100 Generic sticks

2- One 128MB PC133 LD stick

Interested, send email to outlnder AT teamprimeirb DOT com.
