Ew! How does that compare with version 26?
Version 26 is much faster.

The multithreaded benchmarks are quite interesting...

Good catch! That is interesting.

So AVX isn't very good at multithreading? Or is that just immaturity of the code?
That worked! The benchmarks are attached. The CPU speed was 3600MHz, with Turbo disabled.
Just thought I would point out that the two versions of Prime95 report different cpu speeds and the tfing speeds are different(but not enough to be 64-bit/32-bit i think)

Thanks for catching this! I've been playing around with this CPU, and I'm betting I didn't get the speed right. Here are some updated 27.1 benchmarks, at 3600MHz this time.

I did use the 32 bit version of 26.6, since I didn't want to compare 32-bits to 64-bits.

And not correctly, at least in Win7 64bit. According to Prime95 I'm running at 10,328MHz instead of just over 3500MHz. I don't remember now what it said in 32bit XP. It was lower, but I'm not sure if it was accurate. This is on a 1090T. mprime gets it right for the dual Opteron in 64bit Ubuntu.

I remember something similar on my 1055T, but I don't have it so I can't confirm. OTOH, my brother just built a comp with it and it's at the next desk over. I'll check when he gets home. It'll be 64-bit W7.
