It would be neato if this page was able to be sorted by column:

And I have reason to beleive I know why you wanted a page like Workers' Overall Progress sorted by GHz Days Saved...

Would I get yelled at if I asked about an efficiency ranking table; ordered by saved/effort desc?

Those who do only P-1 would win hands down.

Yeah... That's why, when I do that (it's a good idea), I will use the "normalized" transform for GPU work like I have for the Overall System Status report...

(Let the argument about what is the appropriate coefficient restart....)

Looks like 'Eric Christenson', 'hellrider', and 'sflicker' all win!

Remember that CSV you made available? I never did get around to importing it to Calc, but you ought to be able to get an estimate of GPU272's overall coefficient from that data. (Craig and such are balanced by monst and such, I think it's a pretty even mix.)

Weehoo!

Going through recent results and found this:

A test completed after we got to it!

See what we mean davieddy?

For this page it could be better to use Bayesian estimates.

See the formula at the bottom of the IMDb rating page:
true Bayesian estimate: weighted rating (WR) = (v ÷ (v+m)) × R + (m ÷ (v+m)) × C where:

R = average for the movie (mean) = (Rating)
v = number of votes for the movie = (votes)
m = minimum votes required to be listed in the Top 250 (currently 3000)
C = the mean vote across the whole report (currently 6.9) <-- can use MO here

For the cells with many observations, the formula changes almost nothing, for cells with just 1 or 2 factums, the MO will be shown. This takes care of the swings: both into 0.000's (e.g. 0 successes out of 15 trials) or into unrealistic 1.000's (1 success out of 1 lucky trial)
:two cents:

http://www.mersenne.org/report_exponent/?exp_lo=45571159

That exponent in particular, and many more if http://www.mersenne.org/primenet/ is anything to go by, are reserved for Trial Factoring and not reserved as LLs. Is this a result of the discussion between George and Chris? Because if so, I approve  (I've been wondering for a while what sort of impact we'd have on PrimeNet if we got ahead of the LL wave but were still reserving expos as LL.)

My questions are, how does Spidey find low expos that aren't reserved for LL? Does it still reserve them as LL and then immediately unreserve/rereserve as TF? Does Spidey get special treatment from PrimeNet to make sure a candidate isn't lost again?
