I only selected Depth first. The other values came up on their own.
I previously got a couple of Bit first assignments just to check things out.
I see a sample assignment displayed, but clicking "get assignments" still gives me the "Sorry... No assignments available which match your criteria." response. The only difference I see is that Chris set me up a long time ago to be able to download more than 100 assignments, so my page says "Limit of 1000 per request". |
OK, I'm going to be AFK for the most part for the next couple of days. An important guest has arrived for her once-every-two-years visit.
I'll drill down on the logs once I have a chance, but "LMH" TF assignments /should/ work (I see some assignments currently, and I ran a test when I first brought in the candidates). Probably just a SPE. I know that "LMH Bit-first" works.
Neither bit first nor depth first gives me any assignments. |
George and Aaron... May I please suggest that you begin applying the recycling rules up there? It's a bit of a disincentive for TF'ers to work up there, only to have assignments languish. Many "well" TF'ed candidates are currently held by "-Anonymous-" users who haven't reported progress in over two years (if ever)....
There are recycling rules in effect. They are pretty lax. If a prime95 assignment has not reported in for a year and the assignment is < 2% complete, then it is recycled. If it is a manual assignment, it is recycled in 1000 days. |

With all due (and true) respect, could these be tightened up a bit? We're asking TF'ers to work this range, but then not appropriately (IMO) managing the LL'ing assignments. A few examples (of MANY): 332193431 -- TF'ed to 80; P-1'ed reasonably. Obviously abandoned. 332194627 -- TF'ed to 80; P-1 stage one only. Obviously abandoned. 332195131 -- TF'ed to 80; P-1'ed reasonably. Reserved by someone more than two years ago who never even bothered to register on Primenet. No work ever done. |
Neither bit first nor depth first gives me any assignments.
Sigh... As usual, an error between keyboard and chair (AKA a SPE) by me... Please give it another try. Both "LMH Bit-first" and "LMH Depth-first" should now work. And thanks for bringing this bug forward! Happy New Year everyone! May we put the "evil eye" further on the theoretical, and find another MP in 2019!!! :smile: |
I'll move my CPU wildcat factoring to GPUto72 assignments. Also, 2 of the machines that I have ready access to I will move to dedicate them to SDC and TC exclusively.

I'm getting quite a few less Ghz-d/day, down from about 1600 in the 59M range from 73 -> 74, to about 1200 here at 332M 75 -> 78.

That's to be expected; as noted above. |

Dude! You're still using a CPU to TF? Are you stoned, man? |
Dude! You're still using a CPU to TF? Are you stoned, man?
Hey, I just spent 6 months doing CPU-TF! :davieddy:
Of course, that was because no GPU software supports >2[sup]32[/sup] exponents... |
