1,000 new assignments in the 81-83M ranges?

P-1?
Or another bit deeper in TF?

If the new gpuOwl GPU LL testing program turns out to be as fast and stable as it looks, we might need to change the mission to GPU LL to 72M...
P-1? Or another bit deeper in TF?
Consider it a "strategic P-1 effort". No extra TF'ing is needed.

I noticed that the Cat4 LL assignments were ahead of the Primenet P-1 assignments -- by quite a large margin. This would mean that the Primenet P-1 workers would diligently do their work, but not feed the Cat4 LL'ers. Primenet assigns LL assignments sorted by P1 desc, Exponent grouped by each M.

The P-1 candidates currently available from GPU72 are at the high end of each range.

There's an interesting race condition here, which I am trying to help manage.

TL;DR: Those who are able might consider doing some more P-1 work. There's no real downside if we fail at this, other than giving a LL'er an assignment which hasn't been P-1'ed which they most likely won't do well (because of lack of memory) and will be redone.

Just in case anyone would like to "follow along" with this exercise, please see this administrative graphic.

The Primenet P-1'ers often fall behind the LL Cat 4 "churners". Thankfully the GPU72 P-1'ers work almost as hard, and are more disciplined.

At www.mersenne.ca
Probably should be posted in the mersenne.ca thread instead of here, but I took a quick look and it seems to be working fine. Is there a particular view you're trying to see that's not responding? If so, let me know the URL. Last two days seems to work fine: http://www.mersenne.ca/status/tf/0/2/1/0

Just took less than a second for me, way out in the western Atlantic.

Are your DNS settings sane? I tend to use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

The reason I ask is our local provider "Clueless and Worthless" used to issue their CPE as the DNS servers via DHCP. And said CPE's DNS resolution was seriously slow.
