I don't believe AWS has reverse PTR customization either. I've never seen it.
Reverse DNS is possible under EC2. It involves filling out a form, and (possibly) interacting with a human.
Also, if you are going to be sending email, I'd configure your MTA to relay through SES. Most of the EC2 IPs have a bad reputation.
Thanks Mark. Your advice about AWS is always valued and appreciated.

Is it safe to say the Leading Edge of LL is well behind TF?

I'm in no way suggesting people should stop doing GPU72-LLTF.
Of course anyone can do whatever turns their crank.

It seems with TF almost done in the 60M and 70M ranges that there are over 100,000 ready for LL with a good number in all 4 categories under 80M?

Mark Rose 2016-08-31 17:22

We're not quite there with P-1.

Also, it's advantageous to go to 76 bits above 80M for some cards. So that will slow down the progress a lot.

I'm sure it has been discussed before, but are GTX 580s part of the group for 76 bits above 80M?

84M and above, according to the chart at mersenne.ca, IIRC.

Thanks! It often doesn't occur to me to check mersenne.ca. I should learn. :gah:

Why do you ask, your card can only do TF, anyhow, so for you it is safe to go as high as 100 bits  (just kidding, I read the other thread where you complained about the card, it may be a different card)

Nope. Same card. I even tried swapping the 2 GPU's slots to see if the 1st slot was the problem. No help. I am a bit awed that the GTX 460 is so rock-steady. :w00t:

Weird.

Could you give me the URL you accessed? And/or time period of the 400 (UTC please)?

Also, when refreshing the screen at
http://www.gpu72.com/reports/worker/8ad778c87c3d88f688fef4ebad36994c/

Note that the first instance is really a refresh, as well. I just clicked the "Assigned" header to get that effect.

I posted a couple of minutes after the 16:16 UTC time given. I had poked at the situation a few times, and got the same result, so I moved to the forum. I pulled that time off the Windows clock when I was composing the message.

All times are UTC. The time now is 23:14.
