If someone could give me a poly, I'd like to try my first SNFS on the smallest one.
Edit: :doh!: The FDB can provide them. I'll start with this unless someone says it's no good. In the attach you will find poly examples for exponent 11, 29, 43, 53 and 61. Dubslow, your poly is wrong.

Neat, thanks! I guess I shouldn't trust the FDB then. Now (5281^43-1)/(5281-1) is sieving. |
Then let me know if you need help to get poly for exponents 31 and 47.

Dubslow, can you do all the roadblocks for Mr. Pascal? I usual help him but I can't at the moment. They are very easy and fast to factor. Don't forget to send a PM to wblipp with your real name so that Mr. Pascal can thank you on his papers. Let me know if you need help on the polys. Thank you.

If you can't I could do some of them as a change of pace from the Brent tables.

Umm... I have YAFU installed, and not factmsieve.* . Unfortunately, to do SNFS, I either need to baby sit YAFU (c.f. part of this and consequently this) or do test-sieving, neither of which seems like a great idea to me. Perhaps more importantly, I've committed my cores  The latter will take ~2 weeks, and the former looks to be about 2.5 weeks (two cores apiece). If, when those jobs are done, these still need to be cleared, I'd be happy to oblige (though I'd need help for both the polys and ggnfs-params; though I replaced the FDB poly with yours, I kept the FDB's params). |
Roadblock
I'll take (3323^53-1)/(3323-1) C184

I'll take:
(5087^53-1)/(5087-1) C193 (6269^53-1)/(6269-1) C198 Starting once I've finished 21^185+1 which should be in about 3 days. Chris Mod note: post 209 |
