Question: Is Our Forum Secure in Some Areas
 

I briefly posted a message for about 2 minutes, and then realized it could be a grave security risk.

Are some areas of our forum secure for members only, away from the prying eyes of the world beyond ?

Private message me with your answer, as we do not want to answer it publicly !

Without logging in I can see all parts of the forum (forum postings that is, not private messages) that I can see when I do log in.

So obviously I wouldn't post my credit card number on this forum.

Even if the forum contents were visible only to forum members, my policy would be no different. There are thousands of members and anyone can create an account here quickly and easily.

Apologies for ignoring your instructions to PM the answer, but I don't see the point.

If you want the message deleted, just ask.

I really am getting sick of this trivial sniping;
maybe I will start doing RD S things to posts, despite my reservations.

I said it could be of grave risk ( in my way of thinking ), I didn't say that it was ! I removed the content of the message and substituted " Blah Blah Blah " which is also very useful as a retort to some people here, whom I have yet to identify.

Perhaps you ( the 'chalsall' you ) could attempt to intuit what it was that concerned me, and see if you can elevate yourself in my esteem of you. This is probably going to start another flame war which I will simply ignore responding after this post reply.

Some people here would probably eat their children, if they haven't already done so.

I think that I am going to swallow an " anti-grouchy pill " next !

No, I think that the post is now reasonably innocuous, by leaving only the title.

I don't think there is much distinction between members and non-members, except for policy on posting....and me, I recycle bridges in Brooklyn for a living, so you credit card number would be extremely useful for my life of crime....

The only thing that keeps the world beyond from reading all my posts here is, let's see, is it the Jerry Springer show? Or was it the maelstrom of gibberish on the [url]www.cronofhorse.com?[/url]
