Is 355to360 still available? :-)))

I'm going to work on it...

Is 360-365 still available?

If it is I'll run it.

Citrix 2003-12-07 18:21

SB2,
It is available. Go ahead and LLR it.

Testing as we speak, and if no one objects (too loudly) I will take the next range in the list as well, for a different machine. '365to370'.

Citrix 2003-12-07 18:31

360-370 is now reserved for you. If your computer is not a P4, please consider contributing to the sieving effort also. :bounce:

Thanks, the two ranges for 210885 I,ve reserved here are going on P4's (1.8a & 2.0a), the other previously reserved numbers are on AXP's, but I still have a considerable number of AMD/PIII's available. In fact was just going to post a "best course of action" thread to get advice on what would be the use for these machines in terms of moving our project ahead. So point me in the right direction, if you please.

Citrix 2003-12-07 20:41

If you want to find primes you should just LLR and not sieve. But for maximum efficiency of the project you should sieve about a trillion on your AMD's. Please reserve some sieving ranges on the Sieiving thread. P4's are really bad at sieving and should be exclusively be used for LLRing.

I must be missing something as I do not see the current available ranges in that thread.

jocelynl 2003-12-07 22:01

None are available right now since Slashdude and I are seiving from 1.0 to 1.8 trillon. Slashdude (mark) has done it to 4 trillon. He should have some range available soon. I'm working on P-1 software. Hopefully I should have it running within a few days.

Thanks for the reply, I'll put the machines doing something else until then.
