69.0 - 70.0 until i retire

If there are no problems with anyone I will continue this range for as long as I am in LMH. This is a merging of both my previous threads, and all further updates for either range shall occur in this thread.

So, just out of curiosity, that means these are the numbers from 69.0 million to 69.1 million, right?

No - 69.abcde (69.0 to 70.0 mil - as the title says)

Examples:
00000 to 00005 = 69,000,000 to 69,000,059
72600 to 99999 = 69,726,000 to 69,999,999

Ah, I see. Thx.

Garo, I suggest to change the both entries for tom11784 to one : 69-70M Factoring to 2^62+

+ a computer currently in this range

I am updating this at http://www.geocities.com/tommyzink/gimps.html for those who care for more than the monthly updates I put here.

tom11784 2003-12-19 12:43

just another update

- completed all numbers in this range to at least 60 bits
- have 3321 exponents at 60 and less than 8200 below 62

my most updated status is viewable at:
www.geocities.com/tommyzink/gimps/current.html

and if you want to see past charts of this range:
"desktop" will be off until Jan 11 since the college wants nothing plugged in over break
Who ever listens to what the college has to say? :). I've left my computer on over countless breaks and they didnt complain at all. They came in and personally had to check the room and they didnt say anything about my computer being on.

tom11784 2003-12-19 15:38

well the way they informed us made it sound like the power to the entire dorm might be shut off during multiple periods of the break - so i don't want to take any chances as my computer has had enough things pissing me off this semester

editting was used to clarify an "it" i used previously:

tom11784 2004-01-03 04:08

another 10-20 day update

fewer than 2300 now at 60 bits and fewer that 3500 at 61 bits

once these are done out to 62 things will probably get slower, so hopefully another month of speed before this occurs

just like last time, you can view my status at www.geocities.com/tommyzink/gimps/ and select the chart to view (current or yyyy_mm_dd)

 moving right along in search of good times and good news, ....
