Confusing terms/acronyms?
 

In the world of search for Mersenne Primes we use quite a few shorthand terms and acronyms. Some of these are also used in other contexts and with completely different meanings. At least one or two I run into in my own personal/work life.

Are there any that you see/use in non-Mersenne related areas of your life? Care to share what they are and what they mean?

An example:
If you are involved in politics (or it's reporting or education), you might see and use MP to mean Member of Parliament, instead of Mersenne Prime.
