363900 done - only remotely interesting one of the pile I reserved in early September, got to very-nearly-C120 twice before going down to C70 and coming back again

Releasing the following two sequences as finished per subproject #12:

I've retasked those machines elsewhere and I'll watch the sequences for a while. I'm not going to release them - I'll just report them as complete, under my watch, if they make it to 120. If they stop along the way, I'll pick them back up later, after the others... |
At the moment there are a lot of boinc computrons being focussed on the 1000..10000th composites on in factordb; that is, at present, on composites with 98 to 113 digits. If you put something in which has a composite in that range, it is likely that the locusts will attack it and will keep pulling it forward quite quickly until you hit a composite of more than 113 digits.
This is the main reason that there is a huge spike in the stats for 114-digit composites, and that the sequences in the database now are all at 114 digits or above. |

It probably doesn't help that my reservations/releases are not kept current in the first post, either. But, that can be fixed: Abandoning:
277620 - size 116 296886 - size 114 496170 - size 114 816186 - size 114 866388 - size 117
Previously released:
458352 - size (when released) 120 465648 - size (when released) 123 974886 - size (when released) 120 982260 - size (when released) 120
That should clear my slate of all aliquot sequence reservations. I'll go cause trouble elsewhere, for now. |
