Dropping 933030 118 2144 2^2 * 3 * C117.
I had NFS on the C117 partway through sieving, but in a colossal fsck-up, I did
bill@Gravemind:~/yafu∰∂ rm nfs.*
instead of the
bill@Gravemind:~/yafu/rsals∰∂ rm nfs.*
that I was intending to do, and thus shot that NFS job to (unrecoverable) hell.

Edit: By the way, the status page reports three unreserved sequences with downdrivers, and only one of them is ahead of that in the FDB (and that's a plain old 2^2, no 3, at 111 digits). The two downdrivers are both recent 2^2*7-ee's.

Add
alias rm 'rm -i'
alias mv 'mv -i'
to your .*shrc and you will have one more layer of protection.
Of course, when you will answer 'y' automatically, the effect will be the same. But better than nothing.
To unalias, use \rm . After a while you will use it on, say,
\rm * dat*
(accidental space bar hit while speed-typing) and will also get the same result. There are so many ways to shoot yourself in the foot. The only way to be safe is to do nothing.

You are not reserving 'em? I will: 515040 773480

I 'ave some weekend resources (but I also have hidden downdrivers comin' out of my 'ear)

Yeah... that would just PO me rather than help. I make mistakes like that only very rarely, and if I'm doing something important that could cause real problems, I slow down and triple check everything just to be sure. This is worth no more than a minute of :davieddy:. (Xyzzy, where in the blazes did you get that excellent gif anyways?)
The current downdriver count is very much higher than it has bee in a very long time, and I'm getting a little jealous that I can't seem to glom on to some of these like some others seem to be able to.
Perhaps we/you should let him get in on the fun?

Reserving 948180, dropping 33870

Edit: 948180 has a rather interesting acquisition...
