Dropping 863370, no ECM

As an experiment, I updated the status of everything, moved the reservations from subproject threads, and deleted the driver/guide info from the reservation post. As noted, you can click through to Dubslow's page to see current driver/guide info.

Alsop, please note that the status shown is what the DB shows, there could be errors in the size or current line count.....

Seems we have some more posts in limbo. The main forum display claims this thread has 233 replies and 5 pages (on 50 posts per page), but here there is only one page and two posts (not including this one).

Yep, I see 10 pages too, but no posts beside of these 4 (including mine).

Somehow you missed my post an hour before this that I was dropping 863370

So should the "Reservations as of" use the "Last status update" or the edit time? If it's the former, you'll have to keep it in a constant format. (I know we discussed it earlier, but we never really came to a conclusion.)

Dubslow 2012-07-21 22:36

Where are the posts archived?

Batalov 2012-07-22 01:58

I guess I'll take these little runts - [STRIKE]983928 (released)[/STRIKE], 922620, 973560

I think it stayed this way last time until either a week or so went by or Xyzzy asked one of the forum assistants to work some magic.....
Somehow you missed my post an hour before this that I was dropping 863370
I may have; I was doing it after a long day, so I may have dropped something along the way
So should the "Reservations as of" use the "Last status update" or the edit time? We can just do it the way you parse it right now.
Where are the posts archived?
You should be able to find them here. (Last time I moved a bunch of posts to an archive thread, you couldn't get to the pages after page 4 or so unless you searched for a post that you knew was there.....I think one of the forum assistants tweaked something to fix that. May be the same way this time. [Actually, I can't get it to go past page 35....weird.])

tl;dr:
Currently I look at the edit date, but that was just me guessing. It would be trivial to do the thing at the bottom of the page, assuming that no one messes with the format. (It's been "Last update", "Last reservation update", "Last Status Update", etc., pick one and stick with it )

The answer really should be whichever is more accurate. I'd guessed that no one fiddled with the post unless they updated everything, but Batalov had taken to only fiddling with his own reservations. Now that the driver stuff is gone, it would be much easier for him to do everybody or nobody. If he agrees to that, we should stick to the edit date, if only because the catch with the "Last update" is remembering to actually change that when after an update (whereas the edit time is updated by the forum).

I hope that makes sense

(PS It isn't strictly necessary to include subproject reserves in this main thread; all I'd ask is that the subproject reserves use the same format as the main reserves.)

I only see 26 pages, and can access both the first and last (and presumably the ones in between) just fine. Page 26 dates to November.
