There is definitely something wrong with the db.
My script happily runs 985596 from iteration 1 to iteration 1491, at which it stops, in about a minute on one 2GHz Athlon64. Comparing the output with the db: (db) Checked 731 21 (show) 745712356057859328544<21> = 2^5 · 7^2 · 490889183 · 968817151 Checked 732 21 (show) 962102102235363155150<21> = 2 · 5^2 · 7 · 420047 · 1804937 · 3625711 Checked 733 22 (show) 1083058646835105174322<22> = 2 · 11 · 23857 · 323797 · 6372951919<10> (me)
731 745712356057859328544=2^5*7^2*490889183*968817151 732 962102107477168600544=2^5*7*37*3769*5483*25633*219143
so sigma(N) has been mis-computed at line 731; pari-gp agrees with me. The mis-computation is exactly what you would produce if you believed 475581859730777633 (= 490889183*968817151) to be prime. I've told syd.
Uh-oh....did someone push the "Set Prime" button again? |
i checked, taking 789966.

225900 lost the 2^3*3*5 some time ago (I think I said before) and did a nice plateau at 122 digits, then got the downdriver at index 1186 - not yet reported to factorDB to avoid downdriver hunters :D
Currently lower (and higher index), still going on it. |
Releasing 170766. Its index went over 5000.
It was very mountainous: Up to a peak of 94 Dropping to 44, Up to over 120 in a very sharp peak. Dropping below 40 Up to over 120 Waffled for a bit Dropped back down in a drive that nearly made it to 15 digits Hit 2^4 * 31 to goes all the way back up to 130 digits with no relief in sight. http://factorization.ath.cx/aliquot.php?type=1&aq=170766&big=1 One of the most interesting number so far out of the '120's club that I have followed. |
