I'm going to see how high I can take this for now currently working on i948 sz. 130 = 2*3*C129 right now.

Releasing 20208. i1551 C126, 2^3, 3^4,5...C113 cofactor. Added 26 iterations.
Taking 207714, i2943 C118, 2^2.7.11...C111

just as an update I'm now working on line 985 about 160 lines from when I started it, now size 131 with a C120 cofactor. it's been driver 2*3 almost the whole time I believe

releasing 266136 , taking 765380

RobertS 2012-02-03 17:37
taking 765380
fromSequence terminations (and merges)
765380 unconnected 22 Mar 2011 102 1713 Prime

It seems to be wrong in the DB

And releasing 901752

firejuggler 2012-02-03 17:52

ah shoot... well I checked but i'm pretty sure that 985596 is free, right? nevermind,985596(i1462) merge with 944474 (i0)

It is now at < 60 digits in size in the DB and all seqs were up to > 110 digits. So there is definitely something wrong with the DB.?

Does anyone have any evidence that 985596 was ever at 110 digits (or terminated/merged)?

It doesn't show up in a search of the forum, so it was never included in any 100-digit or 110-digit subproject. And it's not the the list of open sequences that my workers have been tracking for the last year.

So either it was terminated/merged more than a year ago and is now missing from the DB, or it somehow got overlooked all this time. I'm not sure which is more unlikely.

It merges with 944474 i1462, max size <50 digits

There is definitely something wrong with the db.

My script happily runs 985596 from iteration 1 to iteration 1491, at which it stops, in about a minute on one 2GHz Athlon64.

Comparing the output with the db:

(db)

Checked 731 21 (show) 745712356057859328544<21> = 2^5 · 7^2 · 490889183 · 968817151
Checked 732 21 (show) 962102102235363155150<21> = 2 · 5^2 · 7 · 420047 · 1804937 · 3625711
Checked 733 22 (show) 1083058646835105174322<22> = 2 · 11 · 23857 · 323797 · 6372951919<10>

(me)
731 745712356057859328544=2^5*7^2*490889183*968817151
732 962102107477168600544=2^5*7*37*3769*5483*25633*219143
so sigma(N) has been mis-computed at line 731; pari-gp agrees with me.

The mis-computation is exactly what you would produce if you believed 475581859730777633 (= 490889183*968817151) to be prime.

I've told syd.

was about to report the same, thanks.
