My C113 has a small factor that popped up after few curves during this morning coffee break. So, I am still playing with 996666 for a while, until further notice. Did not report it yet (problems accessing factorDB right now).
(edit: sorry for this "going in, going out" process. keep it reserved for me until somebody else will claim it, in case I will become terribly slow).
Don't worry about speed.....there are so many open sequences that we won't run out for a loooong time.

I re-reserved it for you, and we can leave it reserved until it gets to be too much for you.......

996666 is going down...
With a little help from the server (someone factored the C106 of T927 faster then me, overnight) it lost the 31 and decreased a little. Now at T932 it got again the 31^2 and awaiting for a C112 to be factored (I am working on it). I "feel" a downdriver lurking after the corner.

I made a typo when I re-entered the reservation for you. bchaffin's workers may have grabbed several lines from you.....sorry! It's fixed now.)

Question: did you do the work leading up to line 922? (There was a 105 or 106 digit number on line 920, and line 921 was trivial.)

Line 922 was also trivial, but check out what happened from line 922 to 923. That's what a driver escape looks like!!

It was a "somehow hard" C104, at T921, if you talk about that, then yes, I crunched it. What came after was trivial till T927, when I checked my computer this morning before leaving for work (this was 3 hours ago, here GMT+7), it was crunching on it, but when I checked factorDB, it was already reported by someone else. I reloaded the elf file and start working on C112 of T932. I don't know the progress, I'll check it in the evening when I will return home.

Oh, c'mon man! that can't be from my computer, is too fast! Just checked factorDB, someone is stealing my sequence, now after the driver got lost. :boxer::smile:

Something I've been doing lately is to hold back db submissions for any indices with cofactors less than 110 digits. When it's working on a >110 digit cofactor, I go ahead and update the db. The db doesn't stay as current, but there shouldn't be any duplication of effort. (At least, for a while...)

I am running 356382 and 671712 (both with downdrivers) at the moment, could you put them in the list?

356382 iteration 921 C115 2*5
671712 iteration 451 C138 2*5

Sorry LaurV, looks like my workers did pick up a few terms here over the night. It's now showing as reserved again, so I'll stay away from it -- and it's still driverless so you should have some good fun ahead.

I've been watching these with interest for a while now! (I track the 2^2*3 thread also so the workers have been avoiding them.) Good luck!

LaurV 2011-10-11 03:06

That's ok, no problem. I was joking.
Another 20 terms added overnight, it is still going down.
