I guess reservations may be optional here.[/QUOTE]Not necessarily.....if a sequence is not reserved in this thread and the remaining composite on a line is under 108 digits or so either bchaffin's aliquot workers or the distributed DB workers are liable to factor the composite and extend a sequence.
bchaffin's workers will not factor composites from sequences reserved here, but the other DB workers might, if they're small enough. (And looking at the top post, no one had edited it to reflect your latest reservation; I remedied that, so feel free to either continue with this one or pick another one.) If you want something that might be a little more interesting than the ones you've been running, let me know and I can look for something that might have a little more potential..... |

I'm just did an experiment by querying the DB with a number up around 135e9 and something went and calculated the first 700 or so lines. I'm assuming it was the db workers. Kinda takes the fun out of everything. |

It had a remarkable run of over 5000 terms in the 10-60 digit range, but then it just went up and up. After a promising time without a driver (during which it decreased from 151 digits to 148) it picked up 2^2 * 7. Oh well... |
