20 Questions - round 7
The goal is to guess what the OP is thinking of, within 20 questions (as a group).
The current rule set:

The original poster will state the general type (for the item thought of): animal, vegetable, mineral, mixed (to be used only when the object is quite mixed), other.
Yes or No are the main answers. The OP will try to stick with those without explanation.
Questions will be taken in turn. i.e. The second question may not be asked until the first is answered.
If the answer is "yes", the asker of that question gets to ask the next question, they may not ask it before the previous question has been answered. If the answer is "no", someone else gets to ask the next question and the asker that got the "no" answer must wait 24 hours before they can ask another question.
The asker must mark their post with the question number.
There maybe a 21st question of "Is it....", provided that the 20th question was answered "yes".
If it is successfully guessed, the one that got it gets to think up the next item.
Except 'point of order' posts, recaps, and clarifications: side discussions are discouraged.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20_Questions And here is the category for number 7: Mixed sha1 hash = f528ebb3bd7575cd40fac8a8527c75277b73ab09 |
1) Is the category "Animal" part of its mixed nature?
|
1) Is the category "Animal" part of its mixed nature?
And I thought I had chosen something that was simple to define. It might contains parts of animal origins, but it would be in very small quantities. So, yes. (If you like.) |
2) Does it or can it exist in its given form without the intervention of humans?
|
2) Does it or can it exist in its given form without the intervention of humans?
Do you mean 'would it continue to exist for x amount of time if humans suddenly stopped existing' or something else? |
Do you mean 'would it continue to exist for x amount of time if humans suddenly stopped existing' or something else?
No, I'm referring to its origins. The question is approximately the opposite of "is it man-made?". |

No. |
A clarification:
Most of these are MIXED. but Some are MINERAL if you exclude the small amount of ANIMAL mentioned in the answer to question 1. Phew! |
3) Would the typical one fit in a two car garage (with out counting on the extra workbench space and area between the ceiling and roof, i.e. the space of a double wide carport)?

Yes. |
4) Is this something that one (or a corporation) could buy off-the-shelf or from a standard assembly line? (Like cars, couches, ipods, computers vs. a house, an assembly line machine, an in ground pool, a bespoke leather lined wooden caravan.)
