I realize this is an old thread, but I am wondering if the information here is still accurate. I am running stage 1 with Prime95 on a Mersenne number with known factors. If I want to run stage 2 with GMP-ECM, how do I tell it about the known factors?

I figured this out by looking at the Prime95 results file. The known factors are divided out, and only the cofactor is passed to GMP-ECM. The end result most certainly is also modded out by the cofactor as well.
