I do, however, continue to find your race-baiting ignorant and disgusting. And no, the election does not boil down to race.
Really. The Whites of the USA don't distrust the Blacks? Or the Hispanics. Or the Asians? That's not what the polls are saying. Nor what the correctional facilities are reporting. (And, just for context, please remember where I live.)
And by the way, I am a Mormon. ;-)
Please forgive me for this, but that explains a lot.... |
Really. The Whites of the USA don't distrust the Blacks? Or the Hispanics. Or the Asians?
That's not what the polls are saying.
The polls say no such thing. Here in Utah, for instance, mayor Mia Love (a black woman) is running against a fairly moderate Democrat incumbent Jim Matheson. Is she ahead because people are bigoted against white men? Four years ago, more than 50% of Americans voted for Obama. Was that because they were bigoted against a white man? Now, the race is close and you are accusing those against Obama of being so for reasons of skin color. That is disgusting.
(And, just for context, please remember where I live.)
Then maybe you should show some restraint before judging those from afar. Especially when the facts do not back you up.
Please forgive me for this, but that explains a lot....
Does it now? Or does your response merely betray more bigotry on your part? Would it matter to you that my wife is also Mormon and voted for Obama four years ago? Would it matter to you that I didn't vote for McCain four years ago, because I didn't like either candidate? Nah, (bad mischaracterizations of) my religion tells the whole story. I must be a moron because I believe in a loving God. My political opinions must be based on hate and racism. Bah. |

Could you then, please, explain why so many black, hispanic and asian people are in jail in comparison to white people? |

A personal and direct question: Do you believe that Evolution should be taught as the most likely theory in all schools? |
“I believe that God designed the universe and created the universe,” Mr. Romney said in an interview this week. “And I believe evolution is most likely the process he used to create the human body.”
He was asked: Is that intelligent design? “I’m not exactly sure what is meant by intelligent design,” he said. “But I believe God is intelligent and I believe he designed the creation. And I believe he used the process of evolution to create the human body.” While governor of Massachusetts, Mr. Romney opposed the teaching of intelligent design in science classes.
I think that Romney is not qualified to be elected dog-catcher*, but his stance on evolution is progressive (though the LDS stance was progressive in 1909 it must now be considered regressive.) However, unlike many fundamentalist Protestants and increasingly Catholics (oh how we must surely miss the Soccer playing Pope,) the LDS doesn't make Evolution any kind of legislative priority. *Seriously, you've all worked with this guy, the one who says something in the 8 am meeting, but by the 12 pm meeting (when the winds have shifted) he was always on the other side of the issue. He's charming and charismatic and you can never quite pin him down on an issue, and you don't notice it until you are the one he throws under the bus in an effort to look good to the bosses. |
A personal and direct question: Do you believe that Evolution should be taught as the most likely theory in all schools?
Yes. (And, believe it or not, Romney is on record as saying yes too.)

On which day, to which audience? |

See chappy's post at the bottom of the previous page. |

Unfortunately there are many Americans who won't vote for Obama strictly because of his skin color. There are also Americans who will vote for him strictly because of his skin color. I have a number of relatives and in-laws who choose to include Obama's skin color when they make derogatory statements about him. My wife almost kicked her own father out of our house due to a race based joke that he tried to tell to our kids. |
Yes. (And, believe it or not, Romney is on record as saying yes too.)
Actually, I have to concede this point. Romney said, during the 2007.05.03 Republican Presidential Candidate debates, that he believed that God "...used the process of evolution to create the human body". Interestingly, it doesn't appear he has said anything much further to support Evolution education since.... |
There are counties here in Missouri that vote almost 80% democrat (including in the last two election cycles), but where Obama lost. If anyone can provide a non-racist answer to why that should be I would love to hear it.
