Working through the remainder of my assignments. I still have a lot of 25Ms but at least they are all being worked on and will be finished in a month or so. I doubt the number of exponents out assigned to people not me will reduce by more than half in the same period.

I have 27/83 25-26Ms that have one LL test only. Let us keep track of this ratio.
In the last 5 weeks, 70 of 218 exponents between 24M and 26M have cleared, 76 of those remaining are > 365 days and only 13 are 'younger' than the main part of yours, so I would say in a month that other than your 27, less than 15 more will be complete.

There is another one under 40M with only a suspect LL:
You mean other than 'an LL that's been running for ~4 years is likely to be bad'?
Heh, that didn't even occur to me.

I'll be clear: I think one of us should just bite the bullet and do it.

There has been poaching lately in this range or should I say "signalling" (but not near as much as the well documented "JiGGGGGing" in the 24/25M range).

And it is not kindly looked upon ...

But it's been going for two years, and is scheduled to take another two years. That's a long time. (That computer shouldn't be doing any LL at all.)

What are you talking about here? On the "active assignments report", there are 148 exponents under 40M, assigned as "first time LL test". From those expos, many have one LL done (poacher, or regular DC which finished faster), but there are still many with a single "suspect LL" or no LL.

Generally I would have no remorse in poaching such "no LL"/"suspect LL" case, because this would not affect the project, if the guy finishes his test, it will count as DC. However I can't do it personally right now, till mid of August all cores are busy fighting with DC's from GPU272. Then I may have some holiday around mother's day (Aug 12th in Thai, queen's birthday, big national holidays) till around my birthday (Aug 18th) and after, and I may be drifting/roaming/wandering around and not be home for a while. If no one "fixes it" until that time, then it may be me the bad guy to poach it.

^ Same link as in my OP which started this.

And btw, I'll probably beat you to it... I was the one to suggest it, after all...

It isn't; even though it updates on occasion I have been watching since late April and the % has not gone up at all.

I suspect it has other assignments ahead of it making
only slightly
more progress.

Lots of LL results from 2010 to March 2011 then none until 2 in July of this year...he could be back.

Too late! Poached already. We were talking, he was working**...

@Dubslow (re: link) I know what you are talking about, the question was figurative. My point was there are more expos under 40M with "no LL" or a "single and suspect LL" (which in fact is the same thing) which are not in those tables. If you follow zooming in the table from your link till you reach PrimeNet page, you get the status from there.

[edit 2: ** wondering what truck he has if he finished it since we started this conversation, i.e. less then 18 hours, for a 39M expo, and he does not seems as poaching "in a range", most probably he got the expo from/after your post]

Dubslow 2012-08-02 05:28

Umm... whatever that attachment is, it isn't working.
