I think he meant this:
il lupo perde il pelo ma non il vizio (literally: the wolf can lose its fur but not its bad habits)

leopard cannot change his spots
but he zinged back with this Seneca quote (I think):

Starting with a bad mechanical translation, I suppose, from this seat in the peanut gallery I call it a draw.
those two in one ...
a) wolf does not feed, lapses
b) to try sleeping in the egg shell must break

OHU = i ... (I = 4)

ohu guessed everything

e ancora it : "u" quando molto molto fortunato se cade precipitando su un pagliaio ... SI PUNGE, infilandosi nel sedere del cammello !

Where there's a will there's a:

c) relative

You're welcome (of course). I go hope you didn't feel any implied rebuke; I certainly didn't intend one. The reason I picked only_human as a handle is to remind myself to be humble. I go a little bit wack every once in a while, so to keep my text trail nice and decent, when I don't understand something I try to put the onus upon myself to see if a little Google searching can make things clearer. I love having the world at my fingertips. In that sense it truly is an age of miracles.

This isn't really a proverb, but I'll post it anyway:
