Speaking of Obama being a BSer, was the whole issue of the fake birth certificate ever dealt with? It might still be plausible that he's a lying Islamic(nothing meant against Islamic people in general) that wants to screw up the country without getting caught out on it.

Yeah, that's the fake birth certificate I was talking about, there's no Hawaiian state seal on it, and it's supposed to be signed by a certain medical official, though I forget the exact title.

I'm not as stupid as a lot of the people in the forum think I am, I don't just make stuff up without doing my own research.

So even if you believe that the birth certificate is fake, how do you explain the birth announcements printed in the [I]Honolulu Advertiser[/I] and the [I]Honolulu Star-Bulletin[/I] printed on August 13 and 14 of 1961, both listing his parents' address in Honolulu?

What I want to know is why government agencies and similar bodies spent so much time, effort and money attempting to squash conspiracy theories and to silence their promulgators.

What have they got to hide? I think we should be told.

I want to apologize for the thread hijacking.

Also, my general way of discussing things is to speak brashly, but do a lot of subtle communication with my eyes. So I look way more idiotic on Mersenne Forum than if I was across the table from you. To add to that, I tend to play devil's advocate with topics, that's simply how I process information, it's not really meaningful information until I hear the contrary view.

I never really believed the birth certificate thing, I was just checking the opinions of what I consider a very intelligent group of posters. :)

I should find some Jesus toast(toast where the burn marks remind people of Jesus) to use as an avatar just to see the flames people post.
