Which range for Subproject #6?

Mini-Geek, what range do you suggest we do? Now we know the mystery worker was RobertS, 1000k-1100k is a possibility. |

I don't know. Is there some sort of list of what ranges are being done by whom, what's already at 100 digits, etc.? What I specifically want to know is if there's more ranges (that are unreserved and as far as we can tell unlikely to conflict with a mystery worker) below 1M we can take to 100 digits. I'd prefer to do that before we start moving above 1M. |
Another suggestion for the next subproject: let's take all driverless sequences and get them to, say, 110 digits or until they will acquire driver.

In short, the first range below 100 digits is 1M+, so knowing that, I support 1000k-1100k for Subproject 6. :smile: Has axn (who took 1M-4M to 71 digits, according to that thread) uploaded all his results to the DB? Has he provided either all the data files or a list of remaining sequences? (Of the two, I'd prefer a list of remaining sequences, as it's easier to work with for Subproject listings) Also, has 100k-200k been taken completely to 100 digits or not? I know a good deal of those numbers have been taken well beyond that, but I don't know of a full sweeping effort to make them all 100 digits... |

I forgot to answer this one. He has uploaded his results to the DB but there is no list of remaining sequences. Axn, if you're reading this, have you got a list? |
Is everyone OK with 1000k-1100k to 100 digits? I'll PM axn and see if he has a list.

I had an excel spreadsheet with all the sequences. Unfortunately, harddisk crash took it out :no:
I have most of the elf files -- but 1M-1.75M range isn't there (it was done a long time ago). If somebody can run an automated script against the DB and pull down the list of open sequences, that'd be the way to go. But this is also not 100% reliable, since there are some spurious open sequences, due to the "52" bug. |

Here's a compiled list of all the open ended sequences (1000000-1100000) I found via the db. This includes all sizes and I can provide more data if needed. There are two numbers that just show "Fixed index ######" instead of the sequence. I have them labeled as broken.
I did not do any checking for validity of the sequences. |
