The results from 1-8 couldn't be copied from the screen because it was out of buffer. I would have deactivated the hyperthreading and tried it again but I don't have a 980x and I'm not sure if he will try it again without HT ... |

[/QUOTE] Wait a minute...isn't the i7-980 6 cores? If it is truly a better faster technology then 4 of it's cores should easily beat a 4-core i5-750 or i7-920. With 6 cores OC'd I would hope for TWICE the thruput of the quads. |

If you have a gold donkey at home you might get a 980x - in the other cases a 750 will do it quite well. |
