Ok I have found it hard to reproduce identical times over and over again.
10 iterations seems to be too few. 100 iterations seems not too bad 1000 iterations good but results flow out of the buffer closed all programs. killed most of my extraneous tray items. closed all of my gadgets. and I have to minimize the test window after I launch it or there seems to be variations in my results. At least now I can reproduce the same results over and over again on the same PC. Ok put a video card in the slower i5-3570k that is almost identical to the faster one... Now its the faster one so using the onboad HD4000 definitely appears to be slowing down P95 a bit.

Incidentally, running the test from an idling desktop gui adds a few days to each benchmark. Overhead from using a windowing system, probably largely due to relying on the cpu's gpu, which uses some ram. |
I believe so. Also, try 28.1 in the Haswell thread, it should speed up quite a bit depending on your current memory bottleneck.
EDIT: I have a haswell i5 at 3.0 GHz on 1600, it bottlenecks after two threads and a lot on all four. |
