Actually I had a similar experience like Peter with his k=9/n=4M prime: I had temporarily stopped this k at n=4.2M a few months ago and, surprisingly, the prime appeared just one day after restarting. |

Yes you got that right, I began prime search in summer of 2003 and joined Mersenneforum in November 2003. The forum celebrated 10 years a few months ago (have you got your "button"?). That was "15k" project at the time. RPS started in November 2005. |
