Approaching 1000 primes and 50.0 by score

Congrats to everyone on nice primes

We now have 982 primes in Top-5000 worth 49.8651 by score! Just 18 primes to reach 1000, and a bunch of megabit and bimegabit primes to reach 50.0 by score

(11235813 * (2^775082)) - 1 is prime

(11235813 * (2^775082)) - 1 is prime.

Not part of any "drive", just kind of did it on my own.

233,330 digits.

Should make spot # 2209 on the Top 5000.

Congrats on your first prime!

You can consider adding our project, RPS (Riesel Prime Search), and the sieving software you used to your prover's account. Projects and software count separately so your own prime count is not affected. However, since you already submitted your prime the only way to do such changes is to contact prof. Caldwell, the admin of the Top-5000 site, and ask him to add new "members" to your prover's code (L2515).

Thanks!
Congrats on your first prime!

Thank you. It's the only prime on the list with Fibonacci numbers transformed into a coefficient. {edit} Now I see it got bumped down 4 on the list overnight. Brutal!

I tried adding NewPGen but there was no option for it. I don't know enough about how to do "Projects" but I thought "Projects" were things like your "drives" that go on from time to time.

Advice on how to do this in the future appreciated.

SaneMur

What can you do now is to mail prof. Caldwell at caldwell at utm dot edu and say "Hi, I just reported my first prime but I failed to include my sieving software and my project. Can you kindly add "NewPGen" and "RPS" to L2515".

BTW, when you created you prover's code there was a field saying "You may have worked with other persons, projects or programs that you feel deserve credit. List those are to be included using either their usernames or database ids (separated by commas)." That was the place to add "NewPGen,RPS".

Thanks!
